AMELIE
From the meeting between Charles Ewing and Amelie Zalaiti emerges a series of portraits that open onto a reflection on beauty, mystery, and intensity.
Photographed repeatedly by Ewing, the subject moves between unadorned presence and performative gesture, in a continuous negotiation between intimacy and staging. Within this space, identity becomes fluid—shifting, dissolving, and continually reconfigured.
Born in Brussels, with a heritage between North and South, Finland and Tunisia, Amelie grew up in southern France before making Paris her home. Her path crosses borders, much like Ewing’s.
